'Beautiful Redemption' by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl: Wonderful ending

The story started with "Beautiful Creatures," and ends with this book, "Beautiful Redemption." The fourth novel in the series ends the adventure that began in Gatlin, South Carolina, when Lena moved to town. Ethan had been dreaming about her before she arrived, and their love is the basis for the series, which spans several years.

On the journey, Ethan learns about magic, and both of them learn about family secrets long hidden. They find an underground world and travel to other worlds.

In the third story, Ethan dies. In the last story, he must find a way to communicate with Lena from the "other side." Lena must figure out what Ethan's clues mean. And supporting them both are Macon, Amma, and the rest of those who love them.

The fourth book, the last in the series, will not disappoint fans of Ethan and Lena. It's poignant, humorous, thrilling, and filled with love. Not just the love Lena and Ethan feel for each other, but the love their family and their friends feel for them. The love of a mother for her son.

For those new to the series, start with "Beautiful Creatures," "Beautiful Darkness," then "Beautiful Chaos." And even though the last book in the series is out, fans can still look forward to the movie. For more about the film, read the "Official Illustrated Movie Companion."
