It’s cold outside, but warm inside as Bastone Brewery in Royal Oak unveils their new Pasta and a Pint menu, turning comfort food into gourmet eats that pair perfectly with Bastone’s award winning craft brews.
Treat your taste buds to this limited time menu, available Sunday – Thursday, now through February 13.
Priced from $15.95-$17.95, each of these delightful from scratch entrees comes with a complimentary pint of beer!
Ahi Tuna Pasta – Herb encrusted Ahi tuna served over soba noodles with bell peppers and chili soy glaze. This is A++ sushi grade tuna!
Duck Ravioli – Housemade duck confit ravioli with red currant and port reduction. This dish screams ‘comfort food’. Chef Robert takes leg and thigh meat from fresh Maplewood Farms ducks, and confits it in house. The pasta is made from scratch as well. The result is a delicious plate of ravioli topped with sautéed mushrooms and a red current and port reduction, offering earthiness, and a hint of citrus and cranberry.
Chicken Carbonara – Chargrilled chicken and housemade pancetta in a parmesan cream sauce with a poached egg. Breakfast for dinner.
Vegetable Cannelloni – Roasted vegetables wrapped in pasta with herbed goat cheese and Machego cream. Sounds simple, and tastes so good. The creamy goat and manchego combine perfectly with just a hint of jalapeno for a great flavor profile.
Steak Tip Fettuccini – Beef tenderloin and bell peppers in a chipotle cream with black bean salsa and avocado.
For dessert, check out the caramel apple pie with cinnamon honey ice cream, or the warm chocolate truffle cake with espresso ice cream. Other Bastone favorites include the Leuven Waffle, Steak Frites, and the Lobster Mac and Cheese.
Bastone Brewery always offers a number of award-winning beers on tap including: Monumental Blonde – an American style light beer with soft malt and hop flavors; Main Street Pilsner – a Bohemian style pilsner with moderate hop and malt character; Witface – a Belgian style white ale brewed with orange, lemon and coriander; Royal IPA – an American style India Pale Ale with a strong hop and malt presence; Dubbel Vision – a Belgian style amber ale brewed with candi-sugar and dried dark fruits; Nectar des Dieux Triple – a Belgian style strong golden ale with light fruity notes and a hint of sweetness; Seasonal brews coming up include a Belgian Stout and a Belgian Brown.
