Writer-directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer have set their sights even lower this time with a parody of "Spring Breakers" and "The Hangover" franchise in a road trip movie about four bachelorette's out for a crazy night of partying in Vegas.
Shot from the point-of-view of a bachelorette, who brings along a video camera, the movie utilizes the same reality-style aesthetic seen in "Paranormal Activity" and "Spring Breakers."
The filmmakers annoying use of shaky video footage taken from the handheld video camera, along with several superfluous night vision sequences, combined with a terrible story makes "Best Night Ever," one of the worst movies ever!
And that's no joke!
It feels as if the filmmakers took the producer's money just to go on a road trip to Vegas with the actresses, then got s*** faced drunk, shot a bunch of random moronic bull**** that they pieced together in the editing room into a series of music video montages and improvised scenes designed to show off Vegas as a raucous party town.
The take away from this movie is simple.
Save your money!
Take your own road trip to Vegas.
I guarantee that you'll have more fun and laughs than wasting your time watching this odorous piece of dog excrement!
"Best Night Ever" is currently available through VOD. Magnolia Picture's Magnet Releasing will release the film theatrically on January 31, 2014.
