Boca Bacchanal Winefest Weekend features 30 Restaurants, 140 Wines, and international Beer Garden
Spring is upon us. And that means lighter nights, smaller crowds, shorter lines, and of course, the Boca Bacchanal! Now celebrating its 11th year, the Boca Bacchanal becomes uncorked March 22-24 throughout several venues, highlighted by the spectacular Grand Tasting, on Sunday (Mach 24) at Mizner Park Amphitheatre. Recognized as THE area’s food & wine event of the year, the Boca Bacchanal is not only a “Do Not Miss” experience -- all to benefit The Boca Raton Historical Society and its Heritage Education and Historic Preservation programs.
The weekend kicks off with The Bacchus Bash on Friday, Mach 22 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, followed by Saturday’s series of Vintner Dinners, each featuring a nationally acclaimed chef and a renowned vintner (including Castello Banfi, Champagne Heidsieck, J. Lohr, Merryvale, and others) teaming up to create signature dishes paired with “top of the portfolio wines” in a magnificent private setting.
Then on Sunday, March 24, the season’s BIG event takes place, with the spectacular Grand Tasting from noon - 3:00 p.m. at the Mizner Park Amphitheatre. Stroll, sip (140+ wines!). and savor the sumptuous specialties of 30 participating restaurants is an alfresco luncheon by-the-bite setting under the tented green at the Mizner Park. This year’s lineup promises to be better than ever, with an all-star lineup of some of the area’s finest restaurants, including 75 Main, All Star Gourmet Cupcakes, Bogart’s Bar & Grille, The Capital Grille, City Fish Market, City Oyster, Ernie’s Italian Chophouse, Howard’s Market, Legal Sea Foods, Maggiano’s, Max’s Grille, Nespresso, NYY Steak, Oceans 234, The Olive Taste, Pinon Grille, Publix Apron School, Racks Downtown Eatery, Rebel House, Rosso Italia, The Capital Grille, and Truluck’s.
Also on tap this year, an international Beer Garden, featuring craft beers from Butte Creek Brewing Company, including pale ale, pilsner and Porte; Edelweiss Imports (Helles light, Drunkels dark and Kristall); Full Sail Brewing (amber, premium lager, black premium dark lager); Napa Smith Brewery; Sapporo; St. Killian Importing; Total Beverage Solutions; Unibrew USA, and more.
