While walking around each booth at Premiere Birmingham, I met Ruben Martinez of Babe/Donna Bella Milan Hair Extensions. Ruben was one of the nicest and down to earth exhibitors at the show. He has a strong passion for healthy hair care and hair education. He has been with the company for almost 6 years and initially didn’t offer extension services because of the negative results he’s seen in the past. However, after being introduced to the great product that Babe/Donna Bella Milan offers, he decided to give extensions a try!

According to the company’s website, “Babe Hair Extensions are a first for the hair extension industry. It is the result of an exclusive collaboration between Babe Inc....and one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious raw human hair authorities.” It uses 100% Remy human hair that is free of “synthetic coatings like silicone.” Since the hair is 100% Remy, the cuticles lay in one direction (i.e. lays down better giving a more natural look) and they are pre-tipped. The hair is available in 18 inches and 22 inches. Each pack includes 20 strands of hair and there are 25 colors to choose from. You can also customize the hair with semi/demi color to match a client’s hair that has already been colored.

The process of adding extensions to clients’ hair doesn’t cause damage because it doesn’t involve any heat, glue, or chemical. Babe uses a unique process with a micro-bead and I-Link method. This process uses a micro-bead attachment system that is easy to apply, adjust, and remove. Check out the pictures to see how easy and damage free the process is.
