B.o.B released his third studio album Underground Luxury and it shows us a side of B.o.B that we don't get to see often. Bobby Ray has been categorized has hip-pop by many because his songs appeal to mainstream a lot. In this album however, you see B.o.B rapping instead of trying to make singles for the radio.
Songs like "Headband" and "Throwback" have a club appeal but the album ventures away from the club sound and visit's B.o.B's plights. You get to hear a more underground sound in this album whereas his previous albums wouldn't have included these songs.
Beyonce might have stolen all the attention away from B.o.B with her self titled album dropping out of nowhere but this album shouldn't be overlooked. You get lyricism that Bobby Ray is known for and the album has a lot of catchy beats that will keep you hooked. The album also has big name features like Future, Chris Brown, 2 Chainz and T.I.
Some of the gems on the album are "Paper Route", "Throwback", "Headband" and "John Doe". B.o.B delivers with an album that fans can enjoy and hip hop heads won't think of B.o.B as a mainstream rapper only. He has a lot to offer and this album as a good indication of that.
