A mild to medium Augusto Reyes cigar with a pleasant aroma and palette pleasing flavor. Augusto Reyes has been producing cigars for over 150 years. With the 'Delicados' they continue the family tradition of fine cigars.
The roll: appearance-wise this cigar appears to be nothing less than the average cigar. The ring is not as dressy as compared to traditional Augusto Reyes rings. The overall construction appears well within standards from foot to cap. This stick displays minimal veins and a near seamless appearance. It should be noted that it appears this particular line has been discontinued as the website makes no mention of it.

The light: The pre-light draw reveals a sweat almost creamy pleasant taste accompanied by a natural tobacco flavor. The initial draw produced a soothing experience due to the flavor and aroma. The aroma was pleasant as well. The flavor is absolutely comparable to that of a higher priced premium cigar. However.....
The burn: when smoked either indoors or outdoors the burn remains the same. In two of two sticks the burn was uneven with the leading edge burning down one side. Between the two sticks there was an average of a 1 1/2 inch lead in the burn (canoeing). In the second third of the cigar the burn manages to catch up and even out in both sticks. At best the burn can be considered bothersome. Given the consistency of the uneven burn this cigar could easily be rated in the low to mid 80's. However, the flavor remains consistent and would be recommended as an 'everyday cigar'. Additionally noted that the overall flavor and consistency would entice the smoker to try other presentations of Augusto Reyes cigars. With that taken into consideration and the pricetag, this cigar would easily rate an 84.
