Ok so I've now had the Atom Knee pads around a month. So far so good. Took a few nice falls on them and while the impact is a little more than when I was in my skabs, still bearable.
The things I like most about these knee pads is the size and the fact that they stay put. I had to wear knee gaskets not only for extra protection but to keep my knee pads up. I was in between sizes with the skabs and have a very practiced motion of pulling up my kneepads when I exit a pack. I noticed this when I was tugging on my atom kneepads but they were in the correct position already. I think it's the need to measure to get the right size that does it. I also was able to wear my knee gasket under my knee pads with out it changing the fit or feel.
So far, I like the Atom Knee pads, but i'll test them out this weekend. We play two tough games with some hard hitting ladies, I expect that I will have a better more accurate assessment of them during game play after this.
