Atom Knee pad review part three!!!

OK SO! Big test for these pads was this past weekend. Punishers played Carolina All stars then we played Columbia Quad Squad(CQS). Two hard hitting and intense bouts on sealed concrete, perfect place to put these fancy pads to the test. AND THEY FAILED!!!!!!!!!!

Let's talk about someone who was not pleased on Sunday night. The Main and only problem that made them Fail was the fact that the hard knee cap is just not long enough. During a fall or two that happened my knee pad hit on the pads right under where the hard knee pad stops and where the padding under it began. During the CQS bout, after a hit that resulted in me going into a one knee gruffly I felt a scraping feeling under my knee pad. After I got up it stung like Dylan from Making the Band would say Like Hot FIRE! When I got back to the bench after the jam I saw a nice little hole forming in that space from the fall. It happened on the opposing knee later in the game. So I ended up with two skinned knees after that bout and a pad with a hole in it. I may have to just retire them to being awesome knee gaskets at this point or practice pads. That was the most uncomfortable feeling... EVER.

Elbow pads... still pretty good.
