If there is one website I like to visit to view art created by amatuer and aspiring artists it is Deviant Art. Deviant Art has perhaps millions of art created by members every day. Art genre ranges at all kinds of level, from the child drawing to the adult drawing that must be marked as mature.
Most of the art, such as from Kayla Swain of Deviant Art offer viewers the pleasant aesthetic look of original characters artistically designed and professionally colored. Truly, Kayla's art inspires and causes admiration and envy of those who are less than artistic at drawing and painting. Currently, Kayla with friend Joanna W are working on ideas for a graphic novel involving Nox, a deliciously delightful character that I found to be a smooth talker if I recall correctly.
Likewise, the front page of Deviant Art is filled with art that immediately catches the eye and stills the mind. I've often taken several minutes searching the art, noting detail and feeling humbled by the drawings. Members of Deviant Art have talent that can only be described as near professional.
In fact, many of the artists there are often doing commissions and selling art work. Need a particular character drawn? Search Deviant Art. Need an idea for a new art concept? Go to Deviant Art. You will not be disappointed. And hey while you're at it, share some of your art! Be it digital, photography, pencil or ink, liteature prose, or more, share your art with the world. Share it on Deviant Art. Who knows, you may get recognized.
