The release of Apples new smart-phone is coming up. Apple has sent out an invitation for an upcoming event. The event is scheduled for October 4th. Apple has invited reporters to the event to get a first look sneak peek at the new Apple smartphone. Reporters were sent an email inviting them to the event. The event will be held in Cupertino, California, Apple’s headquarters.
The anticipation of the release has raised Apple’s stocks .6% on Tuesday. Consumer reaction to the iPhone 4 were mostly positive despite minor antennae issues. Apples smartphones are a number one seller in the world and has driven Apple to greater success over the years. Scheduled for the event also is a new Facebook application made for the new iPad.
"We believe a refreshed iPhone 5 will boast enough physical improvements to drive another strong adoption cycle," UBS analyst Maynard Um wrote in a note shortly after the invitation was sent. He added that demand for the phone had likely built up because Apple took 16 months to refresh the line rather than the typical 12 months.
It is predicted that the new smartphone will be a good seller with customers. Apple Inc. has been producing personal computers and consumer technology since they debut the Apple Macintosh personal computer in the early 80’s. Apple debut the iPod personal music player in early 2000’s. Apple incorporates user friendly designs to appeal to a broad range of consumers.
