Pittsburgh political punk producers presented a powerful concert to a loyal group of excited fans on June 18 at the Championship Venue in downtown Lemoyne.
Currently presenting their work on SideOneDummy records, the group headed by Justin Sane filled the local punk and hardcore hotspot for a loud and rocking show.
The four piece band started off their one hour set with “The Press Corpse” from their 2006 RCA release “For Blood And Empire” before going into “No Borders, No Nations”, “Turncoat” and the “Sodom Gomorrah Washington DC”, which is the opening track off of their newest album “The People Or The Gun”, a 30 minute romp melodic hardcore romp, released in 2009.
Playing crowd favorites “This Is The End For You My Friend”, ”One Trillion Dollars”, “Underground Network”, “The Economy Is Suffering, Let It Die” and “Die For Your Government” before finishing up with a cover of The Clash’s “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?”
Drummer Pat Thetic took part of his drum set into the crowd for the grand finale playing of “Power To The Peaceful”
Local acts, Kid PA, Alive In The Moment, One Win Choice, and the Holy Mess opened for the national recording artist.
They will return to the area in October with shows in Allentown at Croc Rock, Philadelphia at TLA, and also a stop in Baltimore.
