"Anthousa's Army" revolves around abusing heroic creatures like Phalanx Leader and combat tricks that can have multiple targets at once such as Dauntless Onslaught. There's a slight nod to mana acceleration in the form of Elvish Mystic, helping you power out one of the deck's many threats a turn earlier. Warrior's Lesson is an MVP in this deck, allowing you to potentially draw two cards for just one mana while gaining the benefits of the heroic creatures you target. The deck is rather light on removal, with a pair of Pacifism as the only unconditional spell that'll deal with troublesome creatures your opponent may have. You'll have to rely of playing clever combat tricks to overcome your adversary's defenses and ward off their attackers.

If you're looking to upgrade the deck there's several powerful options you'll want to consider finding room for in "Anthousa's Army." Temple Garden and Selesnya Guildgate can shore up early mana problems. Soldier of the Pantheon will allow your deck to be aggressive right out of the gate while gaining you life and chump blocking multicolored threats forever. Fabled Hero is a heroic creature with double strike that can deal an impressive 12 damage when targeted by Giant Growth. A Spear of Heliod will pump your army while helping to deal with opposing creatures that slip by your defenses. Because many of the creatures in your deck can gain +1/+1 counters a Kalonian Hydra might have a brutal impact. There's also the gods: Heliod, God of the Sun and Nylea, Gold of the Hunt, both of which can help ensure a late game victory.
