Angelo David Salon

Angelo David Salon is, literally, right around the corner from Grand Central Terminal. I had the pleasure of some of the star treatment they offer to their regulars and celebrity customers.

In the "city that never sleeps" and a major hub for concerts, musicals and music-based events, it's all about convenience, speed and professionalism. Whether a personal assistant, publicist, journalist, benefactor or performer you are expected to always look your best when working in Manhattan. You must own a classic suit, the perfect l.b.d., a red carpet look and be able to speed walk eight blocks in 4" stilettos and...your look must be topped with great hair, a flawlessly made up face and a clean manicure.

Angelo David provides all this and more. Even for a lowly media schlep, from the minute one steps off the elevator, it is apparent this is a well managed business. The reception area is beautifully simple. The desk staff provides a warm welcome, making a first-time guest feel at ease. The offer of a beverage is made within a couple of minutes.

Even an early arrival didn't throw them off. The manicurist was free so nails came first. Marianna knows her craft and did a wonderful job. She gives the best hand massages too. Next was a luxurious shampoo experience rounded out by a trim and blowout by Ivan and his trainee. He came back in to do a final quick snip making sure the style was flawless.

So the next time you're coming to the city for a show or are attending an fundraiser, call Angelo David and schedule and appointment so you arrive looking fantastic. They also have a make-up artist on staff to complete you perfect look. You'll leave there looking and feeling great while turning heads in the best way when you arrive at your event.
