Synopsis: With the 70s behind him, San Diego's top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy, returns to take New York's first 24-hour news channel by storm. (IMDB)
Expect to get more laughs from this sequel than you may have gotten from the original Anchorman. In this movie, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) continues on his streak of inappropriateness, excellence, and all around hilariousness. Between Ferrell and his compadres, you will find yourself constantly cracking up in your seat.
Will Ferrell, once again, does not fail to keep the humor going. However, if you don't like his other roles, or even the original Anchorman, chances are you won't be able to make yourself like this one. Throughout the movie, Ferrell is inappropriate, "slap-stick funny", and constantly superb.
As for his co-stars, they also do not fail to bring on the laughter. Steve Carell pulls out all kinds of one-liners that the viewer certainly is not expecting. Paul Rudd keeps on rockin' the porn-stache hard. And David Koechner is an all-American comedian.
Be prepared for the spectacularly unexpected, and get ready to laugh your...butt...off! And if you think this is just another sequel, think again. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely!
So, if you're ready to get weird, get out there and buy your ticket!
And remember to stay classy, San Diego.
