Anchorman 2

Will Ferrell lives up to the hype in the "Anchorman 2" movie released today! This film is riddled with celebrity cameos and hilarious moments. Sequels are almost never better than the first, but "Anchorman 2" comes pretty close. With the infamous fighting scene and comedic moments in abundance, movie goers will be pleased.

SPOILER ALERT: Here goes nothing. If you do not want to know about the movie prior to seeing it then you probably should not continue to read any further!

So the movie starts off seven years after the first film and Ron Burgundy returns to New York to work for the first twenty-four hour news channel. Scenes such as the drunken Sea World host and a road trip involving bowling balls and scorpions makes this film a great follow-up to the first. The laughs were abundant in one local Miami Theater as Ferrell worked his magic and played the role of Ron Burgundy just right. The first hour alone had most movie-goers laughing to the point of being out of breath. "Anchorman 2" is no rehash of the first review and the fight was a fight to end all others.

Cameos and stars: Besides Will Ferrell (Ron Burgundy), Steve Carell (Brick Tamland), and Christina Applegate (Veronica Corningstone), appearances range from Kirsten Dunst, Meagan Good (Linda Jackson), James Marsden (Jack Lime), Kristen Wiig (Chani), David Koechner (Champ Kind), Tina Fey and Dylan Baker.
