"Full Frontal" by Analog Rebellion is an Indie Rock album packed with attitude and energy.
The lead vocal is a very high pitched male vocal (in songs like "American Hell" it even sounds effeminate), this manages to sound edgy and tough throughout the album, making for a very fascinating and talented vocal.
The production of the album is very energetic, filled with reverb soaked guitar lines, grungy riffs, and driving drums and synth bass. Songs manage to always sound exciting, and structures really move around keeping the listener always guessing.
Songs like "Father Abraham" seem to breath, with a structure that releases and restrains... ultimately building into a a type of holy sound accomplished through dreamy synths and rising intensity.
This music brings to mind "Modest Mouse"... they don't really sound similar, but their are some elements that are reminiscent, brash and occasionally sporadic lyrics, a large electric production that jams through structures keep them interesting... a similar spirit perhaps.
