I've been experimenting with my hair a lot these days -- a new cut, a new color, and now I decided to take it to a whole new level -- EXTENSIONS!
My bravery in part has been encouraged by this company called Style Strands, who I came across recently. They were generous enough to send me a sample of chestnut brown locks to test out.

Well, I am trying this new trend of weaving in opposite colored strands into one's hair to create great definition and contrast.
...and it worked!
Each set of strands came in their own packaging. Once out of the package, I noticed that each piece of hair was attached to a clear loop of fishing wire. To attach, I hooked a bobbi pin in the loop and embedded it deep into my hair by the roots.
From there it was totally simple to just take my hair, divide it into three sections and perfectly execute an awesome braid! Nothing is cooler than seeing the light and dark strands inter linking to create an easy (yet highly complimented) look!
