From the FX Network...Here's A New's Flash! Big chills are coming to the Big Easy..... Star Jessica Lang is back appearing as yet a different character on the fall season of the anthology series' subtitle for it's returning third season 'American Horror Story': 'Coven'. That's great, but it get's better, going head-to-head with returning star Jessica Lange, will be Oscar Award winning 1990 'Misery' star, Kathy Bates. Now that's some scary stuff, Kathy Bates dark side makes Jack Nicholson in 'The Shining' look like a choir boy. And all these years Kathy let her evil side, that character,in 'Misery' that smashed Jame Caan's leg's cool off, just waiting for the right moment to resurrect it , and now's the time!
Creator Ryan Murphy reported that 'Coven' is a really cool story that took a couple of years to develop. For the first time,the narrative will take place in multiple cities.This marks the first year the show will go on the road and shoot on location. the series will film on location in New Orleans, among other spots. It required researching what are actually considered really haunted places in America, resulting in a couple of dazzling locales.
More importantly Ryan Murphy, has planned a lot of exciting scenes,with Kathy Bates playing a "cuckoo-for-Cocoa-Puffs character". Whom in the beginning, is best friend-turned-enemy of Jessica Lange's character. Eventually, we're going to see with Jessica Lang and Kath Bates going at it. It's really fantastic,that Kathy Bates is playing, a bad, bad woman, someone who's five times worse than her 'Misery' character, which is why she liked it.
Besides three peat cast member Jessica Lange who said she's excited about her role in 'Coven' which has been summed up as a “glamour cat”. Other returning players include
Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy and Taissa Farmiga, along with this season's star Kathy Bates.
At last Friday's PaleyFest panel for the FX series, which strongly seems to indicate that the third season will revolve around witches, as many fans have already speculated. Fan's who include Kathy Bates who said at the conference,"I'm awfully excited ... I was just glued to 'American Horror Story' the first season."
And we'll be glued to "American Horror Story: Coven "when it returns in 2013 on FX in this fall.
