Almay: A review of new products from the Spring 2013 collection

Almay has released numerous new products for the spring of 2013. Almay is a brand that consumers can depend on. The products are high-quality and suitable for any skin type, including sensitive skin. A number of products were reviewed, and not only are they outstanding, they are functional, affordable, and easy to use.

The first product that was reviewed is the Almay Smart Shade Powder Blush. It is available in the following three shades which were reviewed: Coral, Nude, and Pink. The blush retails for $11.49. Each blush includes a mirror and a brush to apply the product. The shades available will look beautiful on every skin tone. It provides the perfect amount of color to the cheeks. The next product reviewed is the Almay Smart Shade Mousse Makeup which retails for $13.99. The product is available in four shades: Light, Light/Medium, Medium, and Medium/Deep. The shades Light, and Light/Medium were reviewed. The mousse goes on to the skin and adjusts instantly to one’s skin tone. There are shade-sensing beads. The product provides consumers with a velvety finish and medium coverage. The product also helps consumers achieve an airbrushed look, and skin with appear smooth. Like other Almay products, it is hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested, and are oil and fragrance free.

The next products reviewed are two palette shades of the Almay Intense I-Color Bold Nudes. They retail for $7.49, and are available in four shades designed for the following eye colors: brown, hazel, green and blue. Each palette is designed to enhance one’s eye color. The product is comprised of three eyeshadows which are designed for the lid, crease and highlight. The shadows will last all day, and will not crease or fade. The eyeshadows are Ophthalmologist-tested, hypoallergenic, and made for sensitive skin and eyes. The shades are pigmented, and glide onto the eyes, providing a beautiful finish to any look.

The Almay Intense I-Color Volumizing Mascara was reviewed next in two of the four shades. Mocha and Sapphire were reviewed. There are four shades designed for the following eye colors: brown, hazel, green and blue. The mascara retails for $7.99. The product will provide consumers with a formula to achieve thick lashes that have an impact on the color of one’s eyes. Lashes will look full, and it contains eye-brightening crystals. The brush is lash enhancing, and will provides twice the volume. The consistency of the product is very creamy, and applies easily. It will not smudge or flake. It is truly an outstanding mascara that will make one’s eyes look volumized, and the shade of eye color pop. It is safe for contact lens wearers, and it is Ophthalmologist-tested, hypoallergenic, and made for sensitive skin and eyes.

Another Almay product was reviewed, the Almay Intense I-Color Liquid Shadow and Color Primer. The product is available at a cost of $7.99, for the following eye shades: brown, hazel, green and blue. The products are shaded liquid shadows with built-in primers which will allow the product to stay on for numerous hours. The primer will prepare the lids for easy application. The shadow sets to a velvety finish. It will not crease, fade or smudge. It can be worn alone or with a powder shadow. Like the other Almay eye products, they are Ophthalmologist-tested, hypoallergenic, and made for sensitive skin and eyes.

The final product from Almay that was reviewed is the Almay Intense I-Color Defining Liner which retail for $7.99. The shades Onyx and Charcoal were reviewed. There are products for the following eye shades: brown, hazel, green and blue. These are superb eyeliners. The product features a molded lead technology which creates a creamy texture and a controlled application. The products contain prismatic ice crystal pearls. The texture is soft on the eyes, and is fade-proof. On the other side of the eyeliner is a sponged tip which allows the user to smudge the liner if desired. The eyeliners are Ophthalmologist-tested, hypoallergenic, and made for sensitive skin and eyes. This is the perfect product to create a smoky eye, or a winged cat eye.

All of the products that were reviewed are superb. They are perfect for those with sensitive eyes and skin, and can be used together to attain a simply beautiful look. With these products, it is easy to see why Almay is continually thought to be one of the best brands available to consumers.
