Alicia Keys on fire at Cedar Park Center (Photos)

With her spectacular voice and looking stunningly beautiful, Alicia Keys took stage at the Cedar Park Center on Wednesday to a sold-out audience. This is her 9th stop on the Set the World on Fire tour which began March 7 in Seattle, WA and will end on April 18 in Chicago, IL.

Opening for her was R&B star Miguel who won this year’s Grammy Award for Best R&B Song and was nominated for four other Grammy Awards including Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album. Miguel’s ubiquitous single, “Adorn,” recently reached #1 on Urban, Urban Adult and Rhythmic Radio. Opening for such an acclaimed headliner, Miguel was well accoutered at gearing the crowd for Alicia Keys' arrival on stage. The two artists are a well-paired team and you can sense the genuine friendship and mutual respect for each other as artists. A fan attending the concert, Cari Reynolds, paid him an enormous compliment by saying "Miguel was awesome. He was a lot like Prince as a performer and a very passionate singer and artist."

From the moment she emerged wearing a black hat and red, glittery, sequenced blouse, this 32 year old New Yorker owned the crowd for the next two hours. She was backed by a full band and showed her incredible display of musicianship by taking turns on the grand piano, keyboard and even the drums. In between songs, Keys imparted little words of inspirations which were mostly directed to all the women in the audience. You'd expect nothing less than genuine elegance on her tour and she delivered. Her stage was classy had a lighted piano and keyboard and her dancers and back up singers were in the back as she performed center stage for most of the evening.

“2013 is going to be such a powerful and fun year!! I can feel the energy of this upcoming year building and I couldn’t be more excited to go on tour with the new album! Everything is new and this show is going to be so fresh!! and I’m thrilled to have the insanely talented Miguel join me,” said Alicia Keys. “Girl On Fire has been such an empowering and freeing experience for me as an artist. I can’t wait to discover how the new and familiar faces I see on tour embrace the music and the journey we're taking.”

For her encore "Empire State of Mind", Keys emerged wearing a beautiful flowy, red gown. Reynolds described it best by saying she looked like a gorgeous "Jessica Rabbit."
