Aldiano, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, 2012

Aldiano, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, 2012 is another wine made under the Cantina Tollo umbrella to show the quality of wines made in Italy’s Abruzzo region.
The Aldiano, Trebbiano is pale yellow in color. It has a complex nose filled with wild flowers, citrus and tropical notes, especially pineapple. The palate pretty much follows the nose and the citrus acidity balances the fruit and minerality. It has a medium mouth feel and a short medium finish.
This is a great aperitif wine, also enjoy with semi soft cheeses and salamis. Also lighter fish and chicken preparations would go great with the Aldiano Trebbiano.
