Every year the most prestigious photographic galleries from around the world assemble in New York City for the Annual Aipad show. The Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) inspires photographers and ignites the imagination of every collector and lover of fine art photography. The Aipad show connects art dealers with potential buyers from different parts of the world in one space for four consecutive days at the historic Park Avenue Armory in Manhattan.

The standards are extremely high to become a member of AIPAD. Each gallery applying for membership must demonstrate the various ways in which they have enhanced and contributed to and the world of fine art photography. All potential members must be sponsored by five current members of AIPAD.

AIPAD show is the marketplace for vintage and contemporary photography.New York City galleries have a strong presence at the Aipad show. The Steven Kasher gallery represents legendary photographers such as Diane Arbus, James Vanderzee, Andy Warhol and Baron von Gloeden . The Jenkins Johnson gallery featured the incredible work of Roy DeCarava. This year Clampart gallery exhibited the work of Marc Yankus who presented beautiful sepia toned digitally enhanced work of architectural scenes in New York City. The Robert Mann gallery featured Julia Blackmon’s manipulated realism. Blacmons work depicts everyday suburban life with a surrealistic twist. The Edwynn Houk gallery unveiled the stunning colorful digital collage work of Valérie Belin. Keith De Ellis exhibited the work of Anthony Barboza, an extraordinary photojournalist and a participant in the 2014 Black and Beautiful exhibition at the Keith De Ellis gallery .
