Princeton is known for housing some of the best, most expensive restaurants in New Jersey. Winberies offers a nice alternative to some of the pricier restaurants in town. Winberies is casual and affordable and the food is consistently very good.

Winberies is located in scenic Palmer's Square and is open for lunch (except on Sundays when they offer a special brunch buffet) and dinner daily. Winberies is also open late until 1:30am Monday through Saturday and offers a great late night menu at the bar.

The food at Winberies is varied and offers plenty of options for everyone with classic comfort foods like meatloaf, delicious burgers and even healthy options like their vegetarian chili and salad combination. The ultimate kobe beef burger is one of the best around. It comes topped with swiss cheese, shiitake mushrooms, tomato and peppery arugula. The sandwiches are also very good and include items like a lobster salad club and a delicious grilled artisan ham melt. The ham melt comes with rosemary prosciutto cotto, nutty gruyere cheese, and a unique apple taragon mayonnaise on top of crisp Texas toast.

Save room for dessert because their Nestle toll house pie is worth trying. The cookie is served warm and topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate fondue. If you just want a taste of something sweet to finish off the meal the "little something" may be the dessert for you. It's a smaller version of some of Winberies favorite desserts. This item changes daily so ask your server for the day's special.

Although the food at Winberies is fairly inexpensive, happy hour at the bar is a way to go even easier on your wallet. Winberies offers one of the best happy hours in Princeton from 4-7pm Monday through Thursday and 4-8pm on Fridays. Glasses of wine start at $3.50 and pints of Miller Lite and Coors Light drafts are just $3. Select appetizers like chicken quesadillas, bruschetta and buffalo wings are half price and start at $3. It's a great option for budget diners.
