Lifestyle is always on the lookout for modern technology and we’ve found that in John Lennon “Instant Prescription Eyewear”. We received a pair to try out and were amazed. There is a fluid-injection technology that allows the user to adjust the vision power of each lens with just the turn of a dial. And this is a special plus, each eye piece can be adjusted separately!
Once set, the system can be sealed into place—you rotate a red lever until the lens is perfectly clear, remove the adjustment pieces—and add the end caps. It’s amazing. They call it ‘eyeconic’.
There are eleven designs in the three frame and lens types: optical, sun or imagine. Our glasses are based on an archetype; a frame made popular by the classic style of John Lennon. The Adlens John Lennon™ Collection, recognized with a prestigious 2013 Edison Award, offers John Lennon’s iconic look of distinctive round-shaped glasses (available in black, tortoise, olive, sunset and clear frames) paired with variable focus lenses (from clear to grey, green, brown, orange, plum and blue).

Another great thing by the Adlens company is that for every pair of glasses that are sold—in a ‘buy-one-give-one program'—a pair is presented to Vision for a Nation, which goes to a lucky recipient in Rwanda.
Adlens quality is tops because they are lightweight, impact and scratch-resistant lenses and are durable and easy to clean.
Retail prices typically range from $123 - $163. Adlens glasses are sold at eyewear boutiques in the U.S. and may be purchased at www.Adlens.com.
