Vintage charm is a chic and stylized element for Los Angeles designer Brooke Giannetti. She combines the aesthetics of mixing a range of styles from rustic country charm - distressed woods, to wrought iron chandelier lighting pendants. She enhances her look in earthy hues with layers of creams, oatmeals, whites, and beiges in linens, sheers, lace. Her use of modern elements create a simplistic, yet bold and elegant look.
Brooke and architect husband Steve Giannetti share offices and a designer showroom in Los Angeles Ca., where they showcase beautiful artifacts, and findings from around the globe including home decor, and furnishings. Their architecture and interior design firm Giannetti Home was formed in 1987, and now located on San Vicente Blvd. As a very busy working couple, they integrate both areas of design expertise into current and future projects. Their less busier times are spent in quality time with family and friends. Brooke also enjoys gardening in her spare time.
With springtime approaching, you may be in the market to spruce up your home with new furnishings. Whether you're browsing for a new dining set or just adding a few accessories, Giannetti Home is a great place to get a new look. The showroom may feature a Klismos style dining chair, or a Cabriole leg console table for a foyer area. Brooke really utilizes creative license to embellish all of the elements together to make a strong, and aesthetically appealing environment. She designs charming vignettes with small wood tables, massive chair elements, and antique carpeting overlayed on oak flooring. Wicker baskets and metal verdigris planters are also delightful to see that go well into the space.
