Acadiana’s southern comfort favorites were jazzed up for a special Mardi Gras party on Tuesday, March 4. The all-inclusive Mardi Gras pass allowed guests full access to all-you-can-eat and drink offerings to enjoy throughout the four-hour affair.
Guests indulged in true Fat Tuesday fashion with an array of passed parade route bites that range from Boudin Balls to Buffalo Frog Legs and Char-Broiled Oysters.
Feast-worthy stations displayed a bounty of carnival fare that included Shrimp & Grits, Crawfish Étouffée and more. Seafood Stations boasted the abundance of the Gulf Coast’s finest with Boil-style Crawfish, and a Raw Bar of Oysters, Peel-n-Eat Shrimp and Cocktail Crab Claws. Sweet surprises come with passed desserts of Mini Beignets, Fruit Hand Pies, Heavenly Hash and Pralines.
Free-flowing cocktails, beers, as well as a special Bourbon Tasting and Martini Bar set the Mardi Gras spirit high, bringing the joie de vivre of the French Quarter straight to New York Avenue.
