Abigaile is a great American restaurant and brewery in a great location, just off Pier Ave, right up the little hill from Hermosa Beach. I didn't have any trouble finding metered parking, although I went on a Wednesday night, so it may be a different story on weekends. There is, however, a garage that offers valet parking. Drivers are given a ticket which you can get validated at Abigaile, and it ends up being just $2.50. That's probably the best bet, and I'll try that next time I go.
I hear that before Abigaile was here, this place was home to many a wild night, complete with a mechanical bull. I wasn't around in those days, but the new home of Abigaile is awesome. They have great beers and tastings (wine tastings, too). The menu is interesting, unique, and offers something for everyone to suit all tastes.
I tried a beer and a food item off the Happy Hour menu - the sashimi, which was very good and only $5. Service was very good, professional and quick - and they were awesome at splitting our table up and giving us separate checks so we could each pay individually. Thumbs up for that!
Overall, I really liked the location, food, and vibes from this place. It's very cool that it's a brewery in addition to a modern American restaurant. I also liked the views and the rustic decor. I will be back!
