Could this jacket have been inspired by the robes of Buddhist monks?
I like to call this quilted silk jacket my Buddhist colors jacket because it has just a mystical patchwork of prints and colors to include burgundy, plum, yellow and saffron that Buddhist monks most commonly wear, but in addition, peach, red, brown, yellow, saffron and pale gold.
The jacket is also completely reversible and the sleeves can be rolled up so that the material from the flip side shows in contrast. There are also two frontal pockets on each reversible side.
Its brass buttons have a whimsical circular pattern. This jacket tends to run loose but that is part of its charm and it allows room for a nice jumper on colder days.
This Draper’s & Damon’s jacket also pairs well with a peach blush crinkled scarf I bought on sale for $5 from Charlotte Russe.
