Here are the technical details, according to Amazon:

- Native 3.5mm jack plugs directly into your iPhone, Blackberry and latest Macbooks (some mobile phones may need an adaptor to connect the POP to the mobile telephone);
- One-touch button for pick-up/hang-up directly from the handset;
- Noise reduction system; and
- Patented design
In short, it could be more comfortable than using a cell phone. And if and when the holiday drama gets out of control, that one-touch hang-up button might prove more satisfying than hanging up on a touch-screen.
