A Lush New Year (Photos)

Can you believe it's here -- 2013!

I don't know about you all, but a heavy night of drinking takes a lot of work! Thanks to LUSH, I was prepared this year!

Right now I am sitting on my couch, like a true slob -- watching my fourth FX rom com recovering from a late night. I'm on "The Proposal" with Sandra Bullock by the way... if you were wondering.

But let's just pretend it was yesterday shall we!

I'm fresh and ready -- rocking a new black dress with boots! My hair was curled in ringlets and hair sprayed into voluminous heights to last the night. I was wearing LUSH's Vaniliary solid perfume ($9.95) for a little hint of scent. To pair with my gigantic fake eyelashes, I wore the Believe lipstick ($18.95) from the Emotional Brilliance line. And OH-MY-GOODNESS, I am in love. FACT. I have been trying to think how to describe it, but it's tough -- totally creamy, so smooth, you can feel like there are no filers and junk -- just pure amazing pigment that is so natural and pure that I feel like Lush has someone crushing up fresh berries to make this stuff.

Ah! Does that even make sense!?

And I killed it -- or I think I did. Although sometimes I struggle wearing a red lip (I look like Ronald McDonald) this color was perfect and youthful and fun!

...and then New Years happened...

and by the time I woke up the next day at noon-ish, I was in rough shape. My fake eyelashes were sticking to my face and my perfect curls were quickly turning into dreads.

Thankfully the softer side of LUSH was there to sooth my ragged body. It was tub time for this girl, so off I went with my Twilight bath fizzy ($6.95) that has little stars all over it and the amazing scent of lavender. I jumped in the water and let it start fizzing away! The ball foamed blue and pink and filled the bathroom with a heavenly scent. Then as the bubbles faded, the water turned purple with little sparkles floating in tub. So soothing!

After an amazing soak, I used my Peace Massage Bar ($13.95) and my angel of a boyfriend gave me a luxurious full body massage surrounded by candles, fresh cut flowers, and the melodic harmony of nature sounds.

YEAH RIGHT!

Actually, that never happened. I was forced to give myself a massage -- but it was still pretty nice and super easy. The all natural ingredients soothed my rough skin to perfection. Way better than any lotion, it soaked right into my skin -- love!

I absolutely love LUSH -- I can't say it enough. They rank as one of my top favorite all-time brands. Their philosophy is right, their products are right, their prices are right! Really, I tip my hat to LUSH. I will be a fan for a long time.

And right now -- try them with their BUY 1, GET 1 deal -- FOR FRESH SAKE!
