Exciting! Thrilling Kansas City! It's good to die hard! This film starts strong and draws you in and doesn't let you go until the end. It has everything from action, humor, car chases and more action, but it also has a powerful message that stresses family and that it is never too late to bond with your children. Bruce Willis is back as John McClane a New York Cop who always gets the bad guy and saves the day. Jai Courtney plays his Son Jack who like his Father is in Law Enforcement, but he is a CIA Agent. He is on a mission in Russia that according to CIA plans lands him in a Russian jail so he can retrieve Yuri Kamarov played by Sebastian Koch a witness scheduled to testify in a case against a very powerful terrorist Chagarin played by Sergei Kolesnikov. John and Jack haven't spoken for years, so he doesn't know Jack is a CIA Agent. He gets word that Jack has been arrested in Russia and he thinks Jack is in trouble. So as any parent would he jumps on a plane and heads to Russia to be there for his Son.
The stunts in this film are amazing! The scene where Jack is being chased on the freeway is thrilling and loud because of all of the crashed cars. The way the cars fly through the air and land with a bang is thrilling to watch. Many cars and a number of buildings bit the dust while making this film. All of the pyros and explosives are on point. There will be no sleeping through this film! The scene where Bruce drives off the freeway jumping onto the freeway below is very well done because everything is timed just right.
You will be on the edge of your seat! This film is a definite must see! It gets 4 out of 5 popcorn bags.
