This French red blend from Ninety Plus Cellars is made up of 60% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 10% Mourvedre and is made by a family owned vineyard in the Languedoc located in the south of France. With a recommended retail price of $19.99 it is already on the cheaper end of French reds but it is currently discounted to just $9.99 at selected Vons and Pavilions stores here in Los Angeles.

In the glass this wine displays colors of cherry red with deep purple hues complimented by an attractive aroma of dark berry fruits and black pepper. On the palate there is some red berry fruit, however the overall impression of the wine finishes in savory or perhaps even neutral territory. Overall this is a solid wine for $19.99 but at $9.99 it's a steal and would make a great every day, food friendly wine.

Should you be unable to find it at this heavily discounted price then don't despair as Ninety Plus Cellars themselves sell the wine online for just $11.99!
