The 4moms Breeze playard may just be the coolest playard on the baby market. Its no-fuss design opens or closes in just one easy pull, it converts to a bassinet, and the whole thing collapses down and fits into a travel pouch, making it portable, convenient, and versatile.

Design
The Breeze is aptly named: with one hand, and in just one step, you can either press it open or pull it closed in an effortless manner that’s nothing short of revolutionary. This means that unlike other playards, you won’t need to leave this one permanently open and taking up valuable floor space because you’re too tired to fight to close it. The Breeze is also wider and taller than most playards, both creating a roomy space for baby to dwell in, and extending the life of the product at the same time. Plus its combination of black mesh and blue accents gives it a refined and stylish look that blends well with modern aesthetics.

Build
The mesh is tough and seems fairly tear and toddler teeth resistant. The materials are light-weight making for easy travel, but strong enough to resist toppling or body-builder babies. The Breeze comes with a bassinet for infants, as well as a waterproof portable changing pad, and a fitted travel bag to carry everything in together, making it the perfect travel crib as well.

What You’ll Love
It’s one push to open. Seriously. It’s one large button. You push it. It opens like magic. How did we live without this? It’s also roomy and sleek.

What You’ll Struggle With
Although perfect for the home and local trips, the Breeze is a bit on the heavy side if you’re going to lug it around while traveling long distances, since it’s not the most compact playard out there. It can also be challenging to fit everything back into the travel bag.

Score

Design: 5/5
The Breeze is thoughtfully designed to make parents’ lives easier, and the streamlined design is highly appealing too. The simple one-hand open and close feature means you won’t have to leave it up permanently.

Materials & Build: 5/5
The materials are high-quality and solid.

Value: 4/5
You can get other playards for half the price, but twice the effort.

Overall: 4.7/5
Did I mention it’s one push to open? If you’re in the market for a playard, and you can afford the slightly higher cost, then definitely check out the Breeze. Your future self will thank you.
