Saturday night. The SAG Awards kept a window open when they supported this Oscar seasons film favorites, like "American Hustle". The film won best honors, at the 20th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Saturday night in Los Angeles, Shrine Auditorium. Star Bradley Cooper spoke on behalf of the ensemble, which also includes Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence and Christian Bale. Bradley Cooper hailed director David O. Russell as "the epitome of the actor's director." Actress Jennifer Lawrence didn't give an acceptance speech at this year's Screen Actors Guild Awards.

But "American Hustle"walked away with outstanding performance by a movie cast, beating out "12 Years a Slave," ''Dallas Buyers Club," ''August: Osage County" and "Lee Daniels''
The Butler".

From ABC TV, "Modern Family"..ah..ugh..what again, because of Sofia Vergara's assets. Which is why, "Modern Family's" star accepted because according to co-star, Julie Bowen, "America loves that hot Latina boob...oops.. that hot Colombian actresses boobs." And of course sos, cast members chuckled behind Sofia, stop it Julie B. Sofia;"Because after 5 seasons, still, me..barely speak English not so good", hmm...what there isn't a learning anex in that pretend TV town. Sofia Vergara said the award menn-et-ed, so very..very muush, as she thanked the show's creators and writers, the crew, the network.Finally saying,"And of course,"my boobs and I, are going to party now! ""Modern Family" standout Ty Burrell also deserved to join that party,because he won top prize for Best Actor in a Comedy.

"Breaking Bad" won the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Best Drama, Saturday night, "Breaking Bad" Bryan Cranston scored the Best Actor in a Drama Series trophy for "Breaking Bad." With that he immediately launched into an impromptu rendition of "I Won a SAG Award.""Saying the only thing that got me through my life,was dreaming,that one day, I could actually make a living as an actor."

The Best Actress in a Comedy award went to Julia Louis-Dreyfus for "Veep".

Maggie Smith won the SAG Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series for "Downton Abbey"

Helen Mirren earned the accolade for Best Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries for her work in "Phil Spector."

During the awards,while going head to head,with co-star Matt Damon, it was decieded who's on top,who's on bottom,when Michael Douglas won the Best Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries statuette for his performance in "Behind the Candelabra."

Taking control of the stage for Best Supporting Actress was winner, of 12 Years a Slave Kenyan actress, Lupita Nyong'o who has been praised for her red carpet grace this awards season, sharing her celebratory phone call to her father when she got ther first feature film Nyong'o, was busy thanking director Steve McQueen "for taking a flashlight and shining it totally underneath the floorboards of this nation and reminding us what it is we stand on."

SAG Awards Show highlights came when major acting honors went to Cate Blanchett for her role in Woody Allen's"Blue Jasmine"

And hey..hey,Matthew McConaughey won for"Dallas Buyers Club." Who admits to recently find some characters that I can humble myself to their humanities and get feverishly drunk on their obsessions." His co-star Jared Leto,in who plays the gaunt transsexual Rayon.Jared Leto, received the award for supporting actor for his performance in the Texas HIV drama "Dallas Buyers Club."

Morgan Freeman,introduced SAG's lifetime achievement award, he presented to 82-year-old "West Side Story" Oscar winning actress, Rita Moreno.Whose career has spanned Broadway, television and music the much-honored Latina legend danced to the podium before a standing ovation and was so extremelyy happy, that she let out a gleeful cursing. Hoping that the man with the button caught that, Rita Moreno serenaded the SAG audience with a few bars from "This Is All I Ask": "And let the music play...As long as there's a song to sing...And I will stay younger than spring."

For SAG's show closing presenter Ben Affleck didn't get to wrap up the show, in a Kanye West-style moment, pushed Affleck aside,as the credits started rolling, Cuba Gooding Jr. ran up and said, "Happy MLK! Happy MLK weekend!"Starting Monday's holiday off ,enjoying his special contribution.
