Step right up to the front of a brand new GMC Sierra Denali 2500 4x4 and be prepared for a wild ride. The immensity of the body, the height along with huge chrome grill make the Sierra Denali not only massively intimidating to other vehicles on the road but for a truck girl like me, it’s magnanimously awesome!
The trucks mere presence just exudes ‘toughness’ but opening the door and climbing in creates quite another awesome experience. The Sierra is a large truck but one can easily and fully adjust the powered driver’s seat to a perfect height and level so as to fit perfectly behind the leather and wood accented steering wheel.
Sit back and realize the Denali 2500 is not behemoth at all, it’s actually a luxury accented, full-sized towing machine with high levels of detail in styling and comfort with plenty of room for cargo and/or crew in the cab. The cab’s 60/40 seats easily recline for needed cargo space while the seats are so deep and plush they could easily allow someone to crawl in the cab and take a nap (especially during an extended road trip which the Denali is made for.)
With conventional towing plus many towing/hauling upgrades such as; HD trailering, locking rear differential, trailer sway control, Z85 handling trailer suspension and hill start assist there really is not much this highly capable ride isn’t capable of doing, (including towing up 17,000 bs.). Did I mention the truck is cool? It’s cool factor just overflows in so many ways.. from the included 4x4 which holds its own even on wet grassy knolls to the roaring gumption of the V8 Diesel, the Sierra emanates exhilirance. The 6.0L Vortec engine doesn’t just roar, it runs – FAST! There was no road or circumstance that held the immediate power of the truck back and I certainly was not going to be the one to keep that beautiful power caged.
During a cruise, open the large sunroof or use the touch screen infotainment system to select your favorite tunes. Enjoy the six-speaker Bose premium system as the Sierra doesn’t just ‘truck down the road’, it flies!
