AC/DC wines were officially released last year in Australia. The famous and legendary rock band formed in Sydney, Australia in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcom Young; shared their name for five varietal wines trough Live Nation Merchandise, AC/DC's worldwide merchandise representative. The wines were released in the USA on June 25, 2012 through Vinport website and now available in national and regional wine retailers like Total Wine & More. AC/DC The Wine includes: Black in Black Shiraz, Highway to Hell Cabernet Sauvignon, Thunderstruck Chardonnay and Hells Bells Sauvignon Blanc. A fifth varietal, You Shook Me All Night Long Moscato, will be available soon.

AC/DC The Wine fruit is sourced from quality vineyards in Australia and Marlborough, New Zealand. The wines are fruit forward and easy to drink, while the packaging features graphics from a number of AC/DC albums. These wines offer a good quality/price ratio that will appeal to a great number of wine and rock fans.

The 2010 Highway to Hell Cabernet Sauvignon is produced by Warburn Estate (formerly Riverina Wines) located at the center of the Riverina in New South Wales, Australia. This third generation winemaking business has his roots in Italy, pioneers of Australia's wine industry since the mid 1950's with 2,471 acres under vine, a crush capacity of 40,000 tons and tank storage for 35 million liters of wine.
