Today I am going to tell you how to shop with the proper knowledge you need to save money and time. Everyone at some point has gone out a shopping center or mall and gotten stuck trying to find what they need. Well, it's not too difficult to know where to go before heading out into the frenzy. Here are some basic tips to keep your head on straight.
First, if you have the internet (and I assume you do since you are reading this right now), use your basic search engine to get a general idea of the best place to go for what you want to buy. I personally use Google, which is the ultimate informational highway on the web. You could also use Ask.com or the more recently released Bing.com. Using a search engine will cut down the time you spend looking for the right store to purchase items on your list. It will also be easier to see what stores have the cheapest price for the best value.
You can also use online websites that sell products at a price lower than what you would find in a retail shop. Examples would be Amazon.com or Ebay.com. I have found many deals on Amazon and Ebay and find both to be a luxury in both being a time and money saver. There is also bidcactus.com. The idea behind this website is that you purchase bid points, and then use those points on items they have for bid. Lastly is craigslist.com. This site is a varitable treasure trove for anyone looking to buy/sell, look for a job, or look at the personals. Not everyone would choose these options, but they'll definitely be missing out on some great retail opportunities.
Or say you are already a smart shopper, and you know exactly where you're going to go, because that's where you've always gone. I congratulate you then on being aware of what you perceive as being the best value. I do suggest though to take a look at all the site I've suggested above. You never know what you might find!
