Eat and exercise all at once with Fork and the Road

Summer always comes and goes in the blink of an eye, meaning you have to make the most of the beautiful days summer has to offer. This summer get out of the car, and get back in touch with your bike and taste buds because Fork and the Road food tours are sure to be memorable days of summer fun.

Fork and the Road bike tours offer the opportunity to try different foods from across Chicago neighborhoods, meet various chefs and shopkeepers and give you an up close view of some unique and great foods you may never have found yourself. Fork and the Road does all of the hard work and research for you meaning all you have to do is show up with or without a bike (since bikes are able to be rented) and be prepared for a full food adventure.

The International Barbeque is the first tour which begins on June 21st and is one of five tours set to take place throughout the summer and fall. The barbeque tour not only gives you the opportunity to try delicious barbeque, but also allows you to take a stab at doing some Korean Style barbeque over live coals. Other tours include a vegetarian tour perfect for any local food lovers. There is also a Tour of Asia and a Tour of Latin America that bring these regions of the world to life without having to leave your own city. The Unsung Chicago Classics tour is the best tour to showoff Chicago’s great unknown restaurants.

The tour is open to bike riders of all levels, and the bike tour continues at a leisurely pace. Each tour costs $50.00 per person, and includes the cost of gratuity and pre- selected menu items.
