Sandro Lisi grew up in the restaurant business. His father, a professional chef and restauranteur, would bring Sandro to work with him where he would often get into trouble. Sandro continued to work in restaurant kitchens while attending Concordia University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in English literature and a degree in professional writing.
