Mediterraneo is a casual yet elegant eatery on the Hermosa Pier. The dark furniture and lighting help to set the scene. Being on the pier there is an outdoor patio, perfect for taking in all the sights. Inside, one will find a full bar, good music and some televisions broadcasting the game.
However, this is not a sports bar, this is a place to unwind after a long day or to get a bite to eat at lunch on the weekends. The lunch menu offers salads, pitas, sandwiches, and European inspired entrees. The dinner menu also offers the same selection of salads as lunch but has a wider selection of entrees.
What Mediterraneo is known for is its tapas menu. There is a large selection of cold and hot tapas available a la carte. In addition, every Tuesday there is a 2 for 1 tapas special all day long so you can try as many as you like. Happy hour is from Monday- Friday from 5-7pm with 2 for 1 Tapas, $3 draft beer and $3 house wine.
Mediterraneo is located at 73 Pier Ave Hermosa Beach, CA. It is open Monday- Thursday from 5pm-10pm. Friday from 5pm to midnight. Saturday from 11:30am - midnight and Sunday from 11:30am -10pm. Please allow extra time for parking since metered & garage spaces nearby fill up quickly.
