On Monday, November 23, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. three Baltimore Ravens players will trade in their cleats and shoulder pads for pots and pans at ESPN Zone’s Ravens Cook-Off.
Ravens left tackle Jared Gaither, tight end Edgar Jones and linebacker Prescott Burgess will try to outdo each other in the kitchen, with 30 minutes to create their culinary masterpieces. A panel of judges will critique the creations based on taste, presentation and creativity. Along with bragging rights, the winning player’s dish will be added to the menu for the remainder of the football season.
In honor of the Thanksgiving holiday, fans are invited to bring canned food and other non-perishable food items to the event. All donations will benefit the Maryland Food Bank. This event is free and open to the public.
