Gluten-free bakery, supplier re-opens in Latham

LATHAM, NY -- It's not a restaurant, but some restaurateurs are joining other customers at Sherry Lynn's new location.

The family-run business that deals in house-made gluten-free food and bakery products and gluten-free cooking supplies has been open for about 10 weeks at 836 Troy-Schenectady Road (Route7) in this Albany County suburb.

The original bakery-store which opened in September 2007 in Brunswick, Rensselaer County, had to be closed when the building was condemned.

As the namesake owner said on a Web site posting, "We got back on our feet and reopened ... in a great new location here in Latham ... and with the help of our mothers, children, and Uncle Buc (head of the dish washing department) we have made hundreds of friends that love our baked goods."
