John Ziegler utterly destroys Contessa Brewer on MSNBC

If you don't find yourself laughing, or at least smiling, at this manhandling, you might want to check for a pulse. Contessa Brewer was trying to interview talk-radio host John Ziegler about the Letterman/Palin kerfuffle. Zielger had his own ideas about the interview should be conducted. It is beautiful, right down to Brewer's phony hurt feelings at the end. Sniff, sniff, conservatives are so meeean.

Martin Knight at RedState says Ziegler was "picture-perfect" in his handling of the MSM.

Some variant of disdain, contempt or somewhere in between. No liberal-talking point assertion or premise should be left unchallenged. Openly and repeatedly question their honesty and integrity. Highlight their hypocrisy in their coverage. Change the subject when you feel like it or stay on a subject even if they want to move on. Ask them questions that they have to answer before the interview can go further.

I think Ziegler might have taken a few pages from the Liz Cheney playbook on how to demolish MSM interviewers. I am still not sure whether Norah O'Donnell is able to sit down. The video of that cat-fight is the 8th Wonder of the World.

Red Star, have you seen MSNBC's ratings? They would be gone but for conservatives tuning in to watch their guys crush the hosts!

I consider myself an independent and not a conservative or a liberal. I tend to vote on the issues. But I am here to tell you, if John Ziegler demonstrated the behavior and level of respect all conservatives have to offer, it is no wonder your group is in trouble!

Typically when there is a lack of intelligence, individuals tend to make up for it with insults and other aggresive behavior because they really are not bright enough to come up with anything better to say.

Frankly, I was appalled at his behavior and honestly, he along with anyone who thinks his responses were appropriate really need to grow up. You want to turn off voters? Keep that garbage up until the next election!

Decision made! Anyone but a Republican in 2012!

Lefties will no doubt criticize Ziegler as rude and interrupting, but as one who watched the Sunday morning news shows for decades (until ~2 yrs ago), I can state with authority that he simply behaved as ALL dems/lefties behave in similar circumstances. Until we conservatives begin playing hardball, as Ziegler did, rather than by Queen's rules, we will allow the democrat-media alliance to steer the argument.

Yeah, "Blue Star" (or should I say "blatant astroturfer"), you sound as if you were previously undecided until this footage. Crawl back to the sewer you came out of, please. Thanks.

Although I felt a little sorry for her at first, nevertheless it boiled down to being a case of her wanting to drive the interview to make her liberal points and his agenda was to prevent that from happening. No doubt she had prepared a closing line intending to continue advance the liberal smear machine's agenda but she never got to it. I thought it was priceless when, following her claim that she had been called a "slut" he pinned her down and asked her whether she had been called a "slut" by David Letterman to which she declined but her facial expression gave away the fact that she well understood what had just happened. Personally, I think she was just thrown into that as fodder, I wonder who at MSNBC wants her head on a pike?

Kudos to Mr. Ziegler for scoring such an 'important' victory ... on an issue as critical as Sarah Palin vs David Letterman. That's what a conservative victory is these days? Hell, more power to ya fellas.

What I find pathetic is that Ms. Brewer thought Sarah Palin was being overly sensitive to David Letterman's misogynous epithets but she herself came unglued over the suggestion of media bias. Does she think this is what it takes to get ahead in the world of broadcasting? How sad.

This woman is clueless...and her questions, OMG!! "What was it about the Top Ten list that hurt her [Sarah Palin's] feelings?" Gee, let me think! Ms. Brewer didn't even ask him about the most disgusting comment of all...the "rape" comment. David Letterman is classless bastard!! Ms. Brewer, how in the hell do you think Sarah Palin feels?? The same way you would if someone said those things about your daughter. What a moron!! And Blue Star...the way the tide is turning towards the libs and their economic agenda, it will be ABB in 2012...ANYBODY BUT BARACK!!

He was clearly a hostile interviewee, and she should have expected as much. The questions should not have focused on Gov. Palin's emotional reactions, but on whether her current strategy of responding to every slight is the most politically effective for her, especially if she does have aspirations for higher office. The same question should be asked of Ziegler -- is it really effective for the conservative cause to be hostile in interviews? What really is to be gained here? It seems to polarize the audience -- not change minds. I would expect that a person who understood the issues wouldn't need to resort to hostile behavior, but could skillfully redirect the interview. Dick Cheney does this all the time without getting snarky.

Contessa Brewer used tactics from the liberal playbook, which is to attack, feint and then dodge any issue the minute their adversary starts landing any blows! John Zeigler did the best he could given the obviously biased approach to Sarah Palin, and was not offered the opportunity to reveal the NUMEROUS instances of the liberals whining and crying about the 'mean' conservatives.
I hope that ZEIGLER and his methodology become the tactics employed by the Republicans and Conservatives in the future - it's our only chance to take the country back from the irresponsible and anti-American leftists now in charge.

I agree with Don - liberals are so funny when they're mad. Especially since, as a far left comedian once commented, incapable of taking a joke or critisism. I love how the libs on this site accuse Ziegler as acting like an elitist. Now THAT is funny.
