Obama's stance on the largest middle class tax increase in history

Phoenix Republican Examiner
We all fear presidential candidates deliver false promises on the campaign trail but after railing John McCain for his support in taxing employee health benefits, many hoped Obama had a better idea for overhauling the health care system.
Apparently he does not.
The administration is now telling Congress the President is considering taxing benefits which have previously been tax free. In a recent congressional hearing, Obama’s budget director, Peter Orszag, discussed the matter saying, “It most firmly should remain on the table.”
Obama spent millions in campaign advertisements, blasting John McCain’s plan as the “largest middle class tax increase in history.” He also failed to mention his opponent’s intent to give a tax credit to families, offsetting the price of coverage.
Obama is crumbling under his own agenda after only eight weeks in office. Too bad it paved his road to the White House.

really? don't you recognize a bargaining chip when it's staring you in the face?
how many of you that voted for obama are sorry now.
Is anyone really surprised? Another example of a professional politician saying whatever it takes to get elected then doing whatever he wants.
"Let it be written let it be done". The public is not quite ready, we have to screw them a little bit more first. This is a huge pile of blood money. We would be out of our mind to pass it up. Wait till we distribute health care, so the coward fools will think they are getting something. Then we can take it back. Maybe next year.
sincerely
Hussein Obama
Sorry you have it backwards, Obama enacted the largest middle class tax cut, Reagan on the other hand is responsible for the largest middle class tax hike in history. Check you facts. Reagan doubled the FICA tax and then cut it off at $90,000/year. FICA is the largest tax the middle class pays and he doubled it! Now, under Ronnie's rules, a small business owner making 90,000/yr pays twice the tax that Bill Gates pays as an employee of MS in actual dollars. Gee thats really fair, the worlds richest guy pays less tax then the plumper that fixes his toilet. Why are you NeoCons always trying to destroy the middle class? What BS are you going to spout off next? Maybe how great AIG bonuses are for the middle class?
