4th of July TEA Parties

From coast to coast on 4th of July, Americans will be celebrating their independence with a new revolution. They will be attending TEA Parties (Taxed Enough Already) in the name of lower taxes - a response to the unprecedented spending by the Obama administration.

What began as a spur of the moment event at the end of February grew into a national revolt by the April 15th tax day. And now Americans of all political persuasions who believe in lower taxes for a stronger economy are planning their biggest TEA Party to date.

Trent Humphries is the organizer of the Tucson, Arizona TEA Party.

"You have to tip your hat in admiration to those groups who are able to hold an event on the 4th of July. It is a long, difficult slog to develop an effective event on a holiday, especially when City Halls and parks and Recreation departments are onto us this time around are becoming more stringent as to their requirements.  The degree of difficulty has risen, but the abilities of our organizers is growing."

Humphries says there are differences between the April 15th event and the Independence Day one.

"We will have about 20 candidates for state and local office as well as over a dozen political organizations and causes to have tables and booths at out event.  We expect to have quite a number of people that have never even heard of the Tea Party to attend due to the amount of fun activities we have planned.  That gives us the opportunity to put them before some of the best spokespeople for our cause, such as Tammy Bruce and Tabitha Hale. Should be a good time." Conservative stand-up comic Stephen Kruiser, host of RFC Radio's Planet Kruiser, will be emcee-ing the event.

Conservative pundit and Fox News regular Michelle Malkin will be speaking at the Dallas TEA Party, which will be packed with entertainment including internet comedian Steven Crowder.

Greensboro, NC will be having a more traditional Fourth of July cookout/TEA Party, with hot dogs and "good ole American apple pie."

However you choose to celebrate 4th of July, be safe and have fun!

Hot Dog I can't wait for all the vittles and pretty women. Uncle Jed says we're going all the way to Liberal, Kansas to attend one. Granny is cookin' up a mess of possum & sweet taters, collard greens & neckbones, and all the sweet tea you can drink! YEEHAW!

Time for a real change -- a S.E.A. change. What about you? Aren't you Sacrificed Enough Already?
Read *Atlas Shrugged*. Everyone else is these days.

I hear Borders is going to have lots of copies on their shelves ready for the rush expected after the 4th.

aynrandcenter.org is the place to go to check out more.

    Jethro,

You're a liberal who doesn't get it. Read our constitution and understand that we're not idiots. We're people who are sick of the government living outside of the limits set by the constitution. We understand the constitution better than you do.

We're mad at both Republicans and Democrats.

Keep drinking the Obama Kool Aid. You'll wake up in November to see a real Revolution when his ability to pass anything will disappear.

The Constitution is about to be enforced, including the 10th amendment. The bill of rights is about to give Jethro an education.

Don't make me use the 2nd Amendment to protect the rest of the Constitution, because I will. I took an oath to defend and protect the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

I'll bet my friend Jethro has sacrificed not one minute for this country.

Hey Ray, where were you when we needed dissent against the invasion/occupation of Iraq, or does that not count as "government living outside the limits"... Last time I checked there was some "spending" involved too.

Not saying I'm fully on board with Obama (and he was quite clear about expecting the people to force his hand incidentally), but if I were to drink Kool-aid, his would make me sleep much better at night than W's greed flavored beverage of buffoonery.

PS - He's right Jethro, ignorance is ignorance on your side of the aisle too - assuming that a side of the aisle is pretty much all you've got. Seems to me you kinda just pick blue and ridicule red, and go about your business. Well, street gang logic doesn't really work in sensible political discourse. You have to do some homework and be a bit more engaged in order to have the right to opine. The irony is that you're one of the biggest parts of the national problem - your ilk is a huge impediment for progress. Sit back and relax, root for your team to do the work - as if it were fantasy football, and see where that gets you friend.

Hey, Jethro. You need a little more book-learnin'. These tea parties are only going to get bigger as we sink into debt, depression and taxes. Go hug your buddy Homer and prepare for the time when all you liberals are going to be kicked in the rear by the tea party movement and the growing realization that not all is well in America.

... the far left will never get it... but the democrats are slowly starting to come around...

obama's numbers are doing exactly what his all-star pitch did... drop.
