Democrats are facing a growing chorus of angry voters over healthcare reform

Posters like this one are popping up across the country

The healthcare reform plan is on pause due to the fact that Congress is on its recess break. While you can expect to see pressure applied to moderate members from all sides, a new phenomenon is being observed by political commentators from across the country. Members of both houses of Congress are being heavily challenged during their routine town hall meetings in their home states or districts. Over the past few weeks, members of Congress have been asked harsh questions, laughed at by crowds, overwhelmed at meetings, booed, and even heckled due to their support over certain controversial issues. The vast majority of those congressmen and senators have been Democrats and they face outraged voters due to their support for the healthcare reform bill and the cap and trade energy bill.

Public dissatisfaction is growing, particularly among those that are usually not engaged in politics daily. The fact that Democrats are determined to pass healthcare reform, as they did with the cap and trade energy tax, is getting people angry. Poll data shows that the majority of people are not in favor of many of the policies that the Democratic leadership and President Obama are pursuing. This month, the officials in Washington are going to be facing angry people that do not want their healthcare changed or their taxes raised, but they feel that no one is listening. If this is you, then you need to make your voice heard. Town hall meetings used to be sparsely attended and boring, but now they are crowded and full of people who are angry at what the government is doing. Representatives and senators are unaccustomed to this and do not know how to handle their angry constituents

It is time for those in Washington to stop listening to Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and President Obama about what to do. If you are a member of Congress, you need to do what is best for your district and the people you represent. Since a majority of people are opposed to this healthcare plan, you have a duty to represent what the people want. You do not work for President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, or Harry Reid; you work for us. Those who end up supporting this bill, do so at their own peril, because there is a growing movement of people who do not like what they see. Incumbents have record low approval ratings across the board, especially Democratic ones. It may be time for you to do what is right, instead of doing what the liberal special interests and the liberal leadership wants you to do. They are not in charge of America and you do not work for them. Remember that fact when you come home to your districts and states.

See this link for the most recent example of angry voters involving Senator Arlen Specter (D-PA) and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius:

Well well well. Gone for a few days, only to return with the most racist picture of Obama on the internet. Of course you had to pick one out where he is white, just so it matches your equally racist discussion. I don't even know why I bother sometimes...

I have visited this blog on numerous occasions, and have determined that this blog is dedicated to bashing anyone who does not support your ideals. Nearly every article recommends that we stand up to liberals (and the same list is provided every time) and liberal causes. Do you have nothing else to offer readers? Where are your alternatives?

Quite frankly, either you ran out of ideas fast or your agenda is the spreading of propaganda under the guise that liberals will turn this country into a socialist regime. Grow up.

80% of insured voters rate their healthcare insurance as excellent or good. That says it all.

Nothing about that poster is racist. Nothing. I think it's quite funny....

For 8 years the liberals were allowed to voice their opinion about Bush, but the minute anyone opposes their "chosen one" they throw out the race card. Last time I checked Obama wasn't black or white.... he is both.

Liberals need to stop throwing the race card just because someone disagrees with them... it isn't about race. This is about our freedom. You know... the thing America was built on???

    "Oh I forgot... says:
Yes Casey. This country was built on freedom. So let us forget slavery altogether, you conservative dimwit."

Classy... resorting to name calling. Ha!

    Conservative, yes. Dimwit, no.

No where in my comment did I mention about forgetting slavery. It HISTORY. Things happen that can not be changed. No one is saying different. However, dwelling on them just seems to be the right answer, no?

You make me laugh Casey, you really do. Dwelling on the past? Just like the birthers do?

    You are a foolish person.

so if you have two or more clunkers at your house you cannot trade both of them for one car. The program is for one per
    person.
