Boston, Ma. – Zeituni Onyango, aunt of President Obama and illegal immigrant from Kenya, is scheduled for a deportation hearing on April 1. Since being ordered deported in 2004, Onyango has resided in the U.S. illegally; living five years in Boston's taxpayer-funded public housing. This will be the third effort by the 56 year-old to avoid deportation. Onyango came to the U.S. in 2002, seeking political asylum from the violence in Kenya.
President Obama stated that he hasn’t been involved in the matter and that it should be resolved the same way as any other case. Some critics of the President see this issue as a test of his duty to enforce laws concerning immigration. Regarding Onyango living in Boston public housing, critics also point out that there are countless legal immigrants and citizens on waiting lists for the accommodations.
Executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, Mark Krikorian, stated that if Obama’s aunt is finally deported, it could “raise the president’s credibility enormously on immigration enforcement."

Why is obama's aunt concerns his political career if there is nothing more to write about obama why don't we just sit quietly and support his political career because like it or not he is the president and a human being like any other individual that has rule this country.

ALIENS AND FELONS VOTING IN U.S. ELECTIONS
1. Aliens voting in U.S. elections will have their future citizenship revoked and
are inadmissible into the U.S. for any visas including work visas. INA 212(a)(10)(D)
2. Felons are ineligible to vote in U.S. elections. This is a violation of their probation and will count as a third strike for life imprisonment.

Grounds For Removal
Section 237 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (“INA”) lists the general classes of deportable aliens. For example, an alien can be deported for the following reasons:
• Inadmissible Aliens - Any alien who at the time of entry, or while adjusting status was within an inadmissible class. INA§237 (a)(1)(A);
• Presently in Violation of Law - Any alien who is present in the United States in violation of this Act, or any other law of the United States. INA §237 (a)(1)(B);
• Violated Nonimmigrant Status or Condition of Entry INA§237 (a)(1)(C);
• Termination of Conditional Permanent Residency INA §237 (a)(1)(D);
• Smuggling - Any alien who encouraged, induced, assisted, abetted, or aided any other alien to enter or to try to enter the United States in violation of the law. INA §237 (a)(1)(E);
• Marriage Fraud INA §237 (a)(1)(G);
• Criminal Offenses INA §237 (a)(2)(A) and (B);
• Certain Firearm Offenses INA §237 (a)(2)(C);
• Crimes of Domestic Violence - Aliens can be deported for stalking, violation of a protective order, or crimes against children. INA §237 (a)(2)(E);
• Document Fraud INA §237 (a)(3)(C);
• Falsely Claiming Citizenship - Any alien who falsely represents, or has falsely represented, him or herself to be a citizen of the United States for any purpose or benefit. INA §237 (a)(3)(D);
• Terrorist Activities INA §237 (a)(4)(B);
• Participated in Nazi Persecution, Genocide, or the Commission of Any Torture or Extra Judicial Killing INA §237 (a)(4)(D); and
• Unlawful Voters - Any alien who has voted in violation of any federal, state, or local constitutional provision, statute, ordinance, or regulation is deportable. INA §237 (a)(6).

I came to this country legally 3 years ago and myself and my husband( who is a us citizen) have so far spent thousands on all the applications that you need to first get here then to get a work permit/greencard and now my son and myself are at the end of the road and we can claim citizenship next fall. I work hard every day in my job and dont receive any government handouts so why is this woman getting her housing and god knows what else given too her when someone like me who pays her taxes keeps her bills in check have to live hand to mouth paycheck to paycheck and cant even have a say in how my taxes are spent or should I say wasted. I think this lady is taking right liberties and she should be sent home (her 5th hearing wow that lady is either stupid or thinks her famous nephew is going to help her out) either way she should get back to Kenya

I understand a judge gave a rulling yesterday and gave her a year extension.She has broken the law and should be deported immediately, we need to enforce our immigration laws now people we are losing our country one immigrant at a time.

The President's Aunt arrived here in 2000. She has been ordered back on a few occasions now which she has ignored. Danger? Excuse me but many of the President's relatives living in Kenya attended the innaugration (so did this aunt) and returned to Kenya. Point- as a social worker I've had people waiting 8 yrs for public houseing - she got the best (handicapped no less) WE are footing the bill?
WHY - the President/wife (tax returns) report millions in income. HE doesn't know? The aunt has told reporters of the # to times she's visited Illinois, WAY before his election. As a social worker I can tell you SOMEBODY in high places pulled strings to set this woman up on US GRAVY train (food - housing - stipend check - all medical) for LIFE.
