Everyone is looking for a quick fix these days and many try medication to cure the blues. No harm in doing so some say, but the heat is on for medication critics who say it is only a quick fix...
Julie Troob grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She has always enjoyed writing and studying the behavior of people. Julie continued on with this interest by getting a B.A. in psychology from De Paul University. Moving on to work with chronically, mentally ill people in Evanston, Julie realized her passion was social work and she pursued an M.S.W. from Loyola University in Chicago. Since her graduation in 2007, Julie has worked with adults who are homeless and mentally ill in Chicago. She has also become certified by the State of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has attained a Certification in Hypnotherapy, has started her own private practice and is currently working to become an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist. Predicting and understanding behavior are two of her favorite past times; however, the rewards of helping others is the ultimate payoff. Please call 773-540-8306 to learn more about her private practice, or to schedule an appointment.
