In one of the smartest moves in years, NESN has added Red Sox post-season icon Kevin Millar to their on-air analyst crew. As everyone knows, Millar's walk in the 9th inning of Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS was the spark that lit the fuse of a championship.
And who can forget his nutty, pre-game 4 banter on the field, laying out for his teammates precisely what eventually happened ("Don't let us win one...")?
On top of everything, Millar is one of the decent guys—always spending extra time to talk to fans and sign autographs. Even after he left the Nation, he always kept his Sox on.
